Our Shurgard Fremont Partners I investment acquired, leased and operated 15 newly constructed or redeveloped self-storage facilities in ten major urban areas across the U.S. in partnership with Shurgard Storage Centers, Inc., one of the largest self-storage companies in the world.  The portfolio was sold to our operating partner in 2000. This was the first of three successful ventures with Shurgard.
