Mr. Karpf joined Fremont Realty Capital in 1997 and has more than 33 years of real estate experience. Mr. Karpf has previously served on the Board of Directors or Management Committees of DP Partners, Leggat McCall Properties, Hearthstone Assisted Living, Inc., Education Properties Trust and BV Eastdil GmbH & Co., KG, a joint venture with Bayerische Vereinsbank AG. Prior to joining Fremont Realty Capital, Mr. Karpf was co-founder and President of Karpf, Zarrilli & Co., Incorporated, a New York-based real estate investment and advisory firm.  He was formerly a Senior Shareholder of Eastdil Realty, Inc. where he was Executive Vice President and a member of the Management Committee and Board of Directors.

Mr. Karpf is an Executive Committee member of the University of Pennsylvania’s Zell / Lurie Real Estate Center Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute. Mr. Karpf received a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School.
