Mr. Zinngrabe, who co-founded Fremont Realty Capital in 1997, has over 39 years of real estate experience. Mr. Zinngrabe has previously served as a Director, Management Committee Member or Trustee of Fremont Strategic Property REIT, Inc., Hearthstone Assisted Living, Inc., May Centers, Inc., Center Mark Properties Inc., PIC Realty, 745 Property Trust and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He currently is a member of the Board of Directors of Essex Property Trust, Inc., a NYSE listed REIT.

Prior to joining Fremont Group in 1996, Mr. Zinngrabe served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Real Estate Investors, the institutional real estate investment management division of Prudential Financial, Inc.  Previously, Mr. Zinngrabe established and directed Prudential Home Building Investors, Inc., and ran several other real estate investment management units for Prudential.

Mr. Zinngrabe is a member of ULI, the Pension Real Estate Association, and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers. Mr. Zinngrabe has a B.S. and M.A. from Xavier University, an M.B.A. from Cleveland State University, and has completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
